‘RHOP’ Newbie Stacey Rusch BLASTS Wendy Osefo and Speaks on Karen Huger’s DUI Verdict!
Real Housewives of Potomac newcomer Stacey Rusch isn’t holding back as she calls out Wendy Osefo for shading her relationship with TJ, despite the fact that the two couples are close friends, and weighs in on Karen Huger’s court drama, expressing both sympathy and concern for her fellow Housewife.
“This has been such a wild ride,” Stacey shared, reflecting on her first season as a Housewife in the show’s ninth season, currently airing on Bravo.
While Stacey has formed bonds with many of her castmates, her relationship with Wendy Osefo has hit a few snags. Stacey, who is recovering from a recent breast reduction surgery, admitted she was “alarmed” by some of Wendy’s comments on the show.
“I have to say, as I’ve been recovering, I’ve been watching the show along with everyone else every Sunday, and there have been some things that I’m seeing that are alarming; like people forget that we’re watching the show with them,” Stacey stated.
Specifically, Stacey called out a moment where Wendy made negative remarks about her relationship with TJ, despite being aware of their history and TJ’s friendship with Wendy’s husband, Eddie Osefo.
“It’s alarming to see Wendy say negative things about TJ and me, considering the fact that she’s well aware of our relationship,” Stacey revealed to The Daily Dish. “She knows us, and she’s also well aware that TJ and Eddie are friends, and they talk all the time. So, that was kind of hurtful.”
Wendy’s comments at Bravo Fan Fest, where she suggested TJ seemed “more interested in the trainer” than Stacey, added fuel to the fire. Despite these moments, Stacey remains optimistic about their friendship.
“She is a real friend, and I receive what she’s saying,” Stacey clarified. “We’re good.”
She also opened up about Karen Huger and the current state of their relationship.
“I reached out to Karen; I’ve been praying for her. She lost her best friend and has her court date coming up. I think we all need to rally around her and lift her up during this very sensitive time.”
