Seth Rollins surprisingly names AEW star as one of his favorite opponents in WWE

Seth Rollins revealed that a current AEW star is on the list of his favorite opponents in WWE. Rollins was in action in the main event of last night’s episode of WWE RAW.

Speaking on The Pivot Podcast, Seth Rollins disclosed his three favorite opponents during his time as a WWE Superstar. The Visionary named AEW star Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose in WWE, as one of the three stars he enjoyed working with the most. Rollins and Ambrose were once a part of The Shield faction alongside Roman Reigns.

“My favorite guys that I’ve ever been in (the ring) with, Ambrose (Jon Moxley) is one of them. You mentioned rivalries, when we broke up The Shield, he and I really got together and did a lot of great stuff in the early part of our careers. And we just complimented each other kind of really well,” said Rollins. [From 00:01 – 00:16]

The former World Heavyweight Champion defeated Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel this past Saturday night in Saudi Arabia. However, Reed attacked Rollins during the Fatal Four-Way Match last night on RAW, and Damian Priest was able to emerge victorious to earn a title match against Gunther.

Former WWE star claims legends would have refused to work with Seth Rollins

Wrestling veteran Stevie Richards recently claimed that legends of the business would have refused to work with Seth Rollins.

Bronson Reed and Seth Rollins brawled last week on WWE RAW ahead of their match at Crown Jewel. The 38-year-old hit Reed with a Stomp on top of a car, but Reed recovered less than thirty seconds following the move.

Speaking on The Stevie Richards Show, the 53-year-old suggested that stars of the Attitude Era would have elected not to work with the former World Heavyweight Champion. Richards claimed that stars such as The Undertaker, Stone Cold, and The Rock wouldn’t want to sell Seth Rollins’ finishing move.

“He’s politically favored,” Richards stated. “He’s Triple H’s boy, so I don’t know if he could have a little ‘Creative liberty, pal,’ as Vince [McMahon] would say, that people aren’t gonna step up and say, ‘I can’t sell that.’ But I guarantee you during the [Steve] Austin, The Rock, ‘Taker [Undertaker] days, they’d be like, ‘I don’t wanna work with him. I’m not selling that finish.'” [10:16 – 10:36]
