Sierra Metals (OTCQX:SMTSF) formerly rejected an unsolicited takeover bid from privately-held Peruvian miner Alpayana on Tuesday that valued it at ~C$180M as too low and opportunistic.

Sierra (OTCQX:SMTSF) said shareholders should reject the all-cash C$0.85/share offer following a recommendation
