Simone Biles drops two-word reaction to Gold Over America Tour gymnast Yul Moldauer’s heartfelt note upon the conclusion of the shows

The Simone Biles’ led Gold Over America Tour has come to a close, and the gymnasts who were a part of the event are emotional over its ending. Yul Moldauer, Olympian and World Championships medalist, thanked Biles’ for the experience, leading to a sweet response from the Olympic champion.

Biles first debuted the GOAT Tour in 2021, after the Tokyo Olympics. Back then, the tour featured only women’s gymnastics athletes and played for 34 shows, grossing over $19 million in revenue. In 2024, the American brought back the hit shows for a second edition, with the cast expanded to include men’s gymnastics athletes as well.

The 2024 version of the Gold Over America Tour was just as successful as its predecessor, lasting for over a month and featuring 32 shows. On November 3, the GOAT Tour played its last show, leading to some emotional moments for its cast.

Yul Moldauer, a member of the team, took to Instagram to express his gratitude, writing:

“Tour, you were good to me. I am so grateful for this experience. I want to say thank you to Simone Biles for making this tour happen. I also want to shoutout everyone involved whether you were a director, cast member, crew member, choreographer, runner…everyone. I am out of words to describe the emotions. I lived a dream on this tour and it was because of everyone involved to make each day so special. From sold out shows & electrifying fans… This tour was everything. This tour is family.”

Biles responded in kind in the comments section, dropping three white hearts and referencing Moldauer’s nickname as she wrote:

“The Bull!!!!!”

USA Gymnastics reacts to the end of Simone Biles’ Gold Over America Tour

While Simone Biles-led Gold Over America Tour has given gymnasts an incredible opportunity to showcase their skills, it has also driven new found fans to the sport. As the tour came to its close after one and a half months of near-constant action, USA Gymnastics took a moment to acknowledge the importance of the shows.

Sharing snapshots from the tour, the official federation of the sports wrote on Instagram,

“Thank you for sharing these moments and memories with us, Gold Over America Tour.”

For Biles, the end of the GOAT Tour will mean the end of what has been an incredibly busy and successful year for her. Outside of the tour, her season has seen her win four medals at the Paris Olympics, solidifying her status as the most decorated gymnast of all-time.
