Sister Wives Janelle Brown Mourns Late Son Garrison on Christmas

Sister Wives star Janelle Brown reminisced on her last Christmas with son Garrison before his death earlier this year.

“Miss you so much sweetheart,” Brown, 55, wrote via Instagram Stories on Wednesday, December 25, per People. “I am so beyond grateful we were all together last year and got pictures.”

Brown uploaded a family portrait from December 2023, in which she celebrated the holiday with her and ex-husband Kody Brown’s six children and their respective families. Janelle and Kody, 55, share Logan, 30, Maddie, 28, Hunter, 27, Gabriel, 22, Savanah, 19, and the late Garrison, who died at age 25 in March.

Us Weekly confirmed at the time that Garrison died by suicide. He is survived by his parents and siblings, including Kody’s additional children from past marriages to Meri Brown and Christine Brown and his current one with Robyn Brown.

“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,” Janelle and Kody wrote in a joint statement. “He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”

Sister Wives season 19, which is currently airing on TLC, has chronicled the family’s grief in light of Garrison’s death.

“Every day is a day,” Janelle exclusively told Us in October. “You just take it one day at a time, one moment at a time. I just think you do what you can to support mental health, especially men’s mental health. And we just continued to try to honor him and remember him.”

Christine, 52, chimed in at the time, telling Us that they “were super, super lucky to have him in our lives.”

“We’ll miss him every day,” Christine added.

In addition to remembering Garrison, Janelle had a cozy Christmas at home this year.

“Merry Christmas,” she captioned a follow-up post on Wednesday. “Christmas presents unwrapped , traditional eggs benedict breakfast served and cleaned up [and] chilling the rest of the day in my PJs .”
