Lil’ Kim Sends Prayers To LA Amid Wildfires

On Tuesday, January 14, Lil’ Kim hopped on X (formerly Twitter) to send prayers to everyone impacted by the wildfires in Los Angeles. As The Shade Room previously reported, a bunch of celebrities including Jhené Aiko, Paris Hilton, Keyshia Cole, Billy Crystal, and Mandy Moore, have lost their homes in the Palisades fire.

“Been sending strong prayers up for LA and everyone affected by the fires. This is heartbreaking. I pray to Jesus that God make it monsoon in LA,” Lil’ Kim wrote. She also added the caption “#PrayForLA” to her post.

Well, even though Kim’s heart was in the right place with her message, a bunch of social media users dragged her on X. A lot of folks pointed out that while her intentions were good, her message missed the mark. Some thought she was calling for one disaster to end but unintentionally starting another.
