S&P 500 Snaps 3-Day Winning Streak

The S&P 500 snapped its winning streak on Thursday. UnitedHealth’s disappointing results and a rotation away from Big Tech dragged on the major indexes.

The market benchmark dipped 0.2%, its first daily decline since Friday. The Dow fell 68 points, or 0.2%. The Nasdaq Composite slid 0.9%.

A majority of S&P 500 stocks actually closed higher, but Wall Street’s selling of Magnificent Seven stocks such as Tesla and Apple weighed down the market. Apple also dragged on the Dow, as did UnitedHealth with its post-earnings slide.
