Spencer Pratt Slammed For Demanding Apology From Andy Cohen

Spencer Prattfaces criticism after demanding a personal apology from Andy Cohen over perceived 15 years ago wrongs.

Just days earlier, Spencer and his wife, Heidi Montag, were also slammed for suing the city of Los Angeles after their expensive home was lost in a fire.

The 14-year feud between the two men has lingered for years, but now Spencer Pratt insists he will not move forward unless Andy Cohen offers a direct apology.

It is clear that Pratt’s latest move has struck a nerve with fans, judging by the response on social media. Critics did not hold back, with one user calling Pratt “arrogant” and criticizing him for leveraging attention from his house fire to fuel his ego.

“He’s going to be waiting awhile,” the critic noted, accusing Pratt of becoming a “mooch” who now expects more than he deserves.

The same commenter accused Pratt of bullying podcast host Alex Cooper for not promoting Heidi’s music. The lengthy rant ended with the final statement, “don’t apologize @Andy.”

Another scoffed at the demand for an apology, stating, “Throwing these no talent reality TV hacks a bone because their shack burned down. Apology for something said 15 years ago lol.”[sic]

Meanwhile, others continued the criticism, calling Pratt names, like this person, who referred to him as a “scammer & a workshy fraud.” They also accused him of exploiting his wife’s career, noting:

“He is currently acting like his wifes Pimp. He has nothing to offer so he is trying to relaunch his wifes failed pop career.”

A fifth commenter asked Pratt to “Stop whining…” while another added, “Pratt’s always been a brat.”

TMZ reported that Pratt revealed he and his wife would accept an apology from Cohen, but only if the Bravo host personally reached out to her.

Pratt clarified that Cohen “knows how to reach Heidi” and that a direct message is the only way they would consider burying the hatchet.

But that was not all. Pratt added another eyebrow-raising condition, saying he would officially forgive Cohen if he posted a video dancing to Montag’s song, “I’ll Do It.”

This demand comes despite Cohen already apologizing publicly, admitting he regrets calling Montag “trash” on TV.

Pratt and Montag cannot catch a break, at least not from the internet. Before dragging Pratt’s insistence on a personal apology from Cohen, fans called out the reality TV couple for suing the City of Los Angeles over their lost home.

The Blast reported that Reddit users had a field day after news of Pratt and Montag’s lawsuit surfaced in a pop-culture forum. One user called out the hypocrisy of suing after receiving donations from “poorer people” to help them rebuild.

Another critic noted, “Just a reminded that both of these people were huge pieces of sh-t before and continue to be still. They do not deserve an ounce of sympathy.” Others were even harsher, branding the couple as “celebrity sc-m” and “grifters forever.”

Montag’s music career didn’t escape criticism either, with some commenters gleefully admitting they never streamed her songs. One user did not hold back, writing, “Now can we be honest that her song sucks sh-t?”

While the couple’s lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles drew plenty of criticism, not everyone was against them. A handful of supporters believed they were actually fighting for something bigger than themselves.

After a Redditor mocked the lawsuit, saying, “Let’s sue them for being douchebags,” another fired back, defending the reality TV stars.

They argued, “They’re attempting to hold politicians and government officials responsible for negligence. This is actually a step in the right direction regardless of their reality tv days.”

Another user agreed, claiming the lawsuit highlighted real government failures and should not be dismissed. Some even took it a step further, with one Redditor suggesting, “Honestly, everyone resident of CA should sue the US government for it.”

Pratt and Montag’s lawsuit against the City of Los Angeles claimed its negligence made the recent Pacific Palisades fire far worse than it should have been.

The couple, along with about 20 other property owners, reportedly filed the lawsuit against the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), accusing it of failing to maintain an adequate water supply to fight the devastating blaze.

Their complaint argued that the city delayed crucial repairs to the Santa Ynez Reservoir, leaving it empty for nearly a year before the fire broke out on January 7.

Instead of using in-house personnel for repairs, the LADWP allegedly held off on fixing the reservoir to seek contractor bids, a decision the lawsuit claims put Pacific Palisades at risk.

The legal filing stated, “The degree of damage that resulted from the Palisades Fire far outweighed any benefit that could have been realized by outsourcing and delaying repairs.”

Whether demanding apologies or filing lawsuits, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have found a way to keep their names in the headlines, whether fans like it or not.
