Triple H has made a huge mistake with one Survivor Series match; it’s not too late to be fixed

WWE is gearing up to host the final premium live event of the year, Survivor Series: WarGames 2024. Triple H and the creative team would aim to book a spectacular card to close out the year, just like the previous year when CM Punk made his shocking return to the Stamford-based promotion.

As of now, only two matches have been officially announced. First, the men’s WarGames Match this year will feature a bout between The Original Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn, and fifth member TBA) vs. The New Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, and Bronson Reed)

Another match officially booked for the Vancouver event is the WWE Heavyweight Championship match between Gunther and Damian Priest. However, in an effort to build a dazzling card, Triple H seems to have made a big mistake that needs to be fixed before the event.

The upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW was pre-taped a short while after the November 11 edition of the red brand. Some fans in attendance posted spoilers on social media, one of which revealed that fans will witness the stunning return of Rhea Ripley. She returned during an intense segment featuring the face team of IYO SKY, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Naomi. Meanwhile, the heel team consisted of Liv Morgan, Nia Jax, Raquel Rodriguez, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae.

Will there be a second WarGames match this year?

Rhea Ripley will join the face team, and most likely, WWE will officially announce the Women’s WarGames Match this Monday night. However, adding a Team Morgan vs. Team Ripley bout looks forced at the moment. Triple H and the creative team must protect the seriousness of the match type – namely the double-ringed, steel-enclosed structures for a bout without much build-up.

Alternately, they needed to have built the storyline to a point where it made more sense for the two teams to face off against each other. What stands out is that Nia and Liv had an intense match just recently, and suddenly, they were teamed up. IYO running out to aid Bianca makes little sense either, and there are other minor issues.

When is Survivor Series 2024?

The Survivor Series card already looks impressive, with only two matches announced so far: a Men’s WarGames Match and a World Heavyweight Championship bout. The Women’s WarGames Match also seems more or less confirmed. There could be another couple of matches that could be added before the event, seeing as how the previous PLEs under Triple H’s creative direction have had at least five matches on the card.

WWE fanatics all around the globe can catch the action of the final PLE of the year twelve days from now at Survivor Series: WarGames from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, on November 30, 2024.
