WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President-elect Donald Trump said on Thursday the money saved by automation in the workplace is not enough to justify the harm it causes to workers, especially longshoremen.

Trump made the comment in a post on Truth Social after a meeting with International Longshoremen’s Association President Harold Daggett and Executive Vice President Dennis Daggett.
