Wells Adams Weighs In On ‘Golden Bachelor’ Meeting ‘Bachelor in Paradise’

As the beloved bartender and resident voice of reason on “BIP,” Wells weighed in on the possibility of a crossover between the senior dating spin-off and the franchise’s tropical getaway.

With “Golden Bachelor” proving to be a massive success, fans are eager to see if its stars could shake things up on the beach, and Wells Adams has some interesting insights on the matter.

Wells acknowledged that Bachelor Nation is eagerly awaiting updates on “Bachelor in Paradise,” from potential premiere dates and cast members to the burning question of whether he thinks “Golden Bachelor” contestants should join other Bachelor Nation stars on the beach.

Wells, who revealed to The Blast that he was actually the one who pitched the idea, emphasized how “fun” and “hilarious” it would be to have people of diverse ages together at the same “singles retreat.”

Describing the concept, the reality TV star explained, “It is a bunch of singles showing up at a singles retreat [and] if you go to any of those places, people are never all the same age. There are young people and old people, and sometimes those young people are dating the older people, so I think it could totally work.”

Drawing parallels between “Bachelor in Paradise” and real-life dating scenarios, Wells added that he “can totally see a young girl falling for a 55-year-old silver fox.”

“That happens all the time in the real world [so] why wouldn’t it happen on screen for us?” he told The Blast.

Wells Adams first stepped into Bachelor Nation during JoJo Fletcher’s season of “The Bachelorette” in 2016, where he was a fan favorite but was eliminated before hometowns. Though his time on “The Bachelorette” was short-lived, he quickly became a staple in the franchise.

Later that year, Wells joined Season 3 of “Bachelor in Paradise” as a contestant, but his journey for love ended when he left the show before the finale. However, his role in “Paradise” didn’t stop there as he returned in Season 4 as the official bartender, replacing Jorge, the beloved bartender from previous seasons. Since then, Wells has been a permanent fixture on “Bachelor in Paradise,” serving drinks and dishing out wisdom to the contestants.

His presence on “BIP” has only grown over the years, and he even took on a larger hosting role in Season 7 following Chris Harrison’s departure, handling the rose ceremonies before Jesse Palmer was named the official franchise host.

With “Bachelor in Paradise” taking a year off in 2024, the upcoming season promises to feature a fresh mix of contestants. Eligible cast members include those from Joey Graziadei’s “Bachelor” season, Jenn Tran’s “Bachelorette” season, Grant’s “Bachelor” season, and the highly anticipated “Bachelorette” Season 22.

Two contestants from Jenn’s season, Jonathon Johnson and Hakeem Moulton, are already confirmed for “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 10. Additionally, former “Bachelor in Paradise” alumni may return for another shot at love, further expanding the dating pool.

In a recent Instagram post, “The Bachelor” Season 29 contestant Allyshia Gupta reflected on her journey and hinted at continuing her search for love in “Bachelor in Paradise.” Sharing a carousel of behind-the-scenes snapshots from her time on “The Bachelor,” including moments from the basketball group date, she playfully alluded to a return.

“Thank you @bachelorabc for an amazing journey. See you in paradise?” she captioned the post, leaving fans buzzing about the possibility of her heading to the beach. She also showed support for her fellow contestants, writing, “To my girls, I can’t wait to keep watching you find the love you deserve! #TeamYellowForever.”

The next season of “Bachelor in Paradise” is expected to come out in 2025, with no specific date released yet.
