You Can Now Watch More Orlok Seduction in Nosferatu’s Extended Cut

It’s now easier to invite Count Orlok (Bill Skarsgård) into your room with the release of Nosferatu on digital. Robert Eggers’ reimagining of the classic silent vampire film quickly swept through the gothic sphere, which has enthusiastically embraced the erotic mustache on this historically accurate iteration of the Transylvanian lord—and his quest for the body of Ellen Hutter (Lily-Rose Depp).

Those who wanted more of the night he came will be pleased to find out that the film’s digital release (out today) features an extended cut. Thomas Hutter (Nicholas Hoult) in Nosferatu’s castle experiencing Orlok’s hypnotic delirium is an all-timer act one of a film, and we’ll take any additional thick fog ambiance we can get. There better be more cinematic gorgeously gross yearning and thirst for more looks at Orlok’s glorious decaying countenance and that irresistible facial hair. Or as Von France (Willem Dafoe) would put it, we’d like to see things that would make “Isaac Newton crawl back into his mother’s womb!”

Among the special features detailed below is that one of the three deleted scenes features the the third night, which was originally intended to have a more physically explosive ending. And we can’t wait to hear more about the making of the film in Eggers’ commentary.
